Riding Long

Braden was given a perfect review at our parent-teacher conference, so we rewarded him with a long board.

He looks like he's ready to tear up the neighborhood.



 Are these types of rewards really necessary?  It was Matt's idea.  After all, Braden also received a perfect report card and he has been an amazing big brother.

 Cornell and Braden took a moment to kick back and cool off before heading out for another ride.

 

Leapin' Lizards!

Braden is kind of obsessed with animals.  Loves all reptiles, insects and basically any creature that is creepy. 

 

 

 

 

 This is one of many instances when Braden rides his skateboard while holding a lizard. 

 Apparently the unspoken rule about no reptiles in the house needs to be spoken loud and clear!

Love Bugs

In the hustle and bustle of our lives lately, it has been easy to forget to enjoy these two blessings.  These little loves are so much work, but such joys!

 

Kennedy is as sweet as she looks.

 Cam took a moment to smirk before returning to cackling.

Kickin' Off the Summer

Memorial Day is a great excuse to have a pool day with friends, while remembering those who have fought for our freedom. 

 

This cutie has had a bit of an attitude lately.  Good thing she is sweet most of the time though.

 Callia loves the babies.  Hoping she becomes a neighbor soon so she can hang out with them more often.

 The crazy crew included Preston, Buckley, Quinn, Bennett, Cassidy, Cornell, Trip, Parker, Braden and Callia.

One Big Happy Family

I had visions of smiling faces captured in photos when I asked Nicole to take some family pictures...

 

Sweet Kennedy was perturbed from the moment she saw the camera.

Even easy-going Cameron had to be consoled.

But Braden knows the drill by now...smile for what feels like an endless number of photos and the torture seems to pass quicker.

We've seen this expression before. Even her big brother couldn't convince her to smile.



To no avail, Braden tried all the usual tricks to create some laughter.

Braden actually seemed excited to take photos!

One final attempt to get Cam to crack a smile...

Whatever Braden did, got his little bro to at least appear like he wasn't being tortured.

Amidst the tears, somehow we got a photo that appears like we are one big happy family!

Baby Bulge

Working out with others is more fun than doing it alone.  I have the cutest exercise partners!   They're helping me shed the baby weight!

 

The babies like to catch up on rest while I'm jogging...

 However, they don't sleep before they get some attention from others on the trail.  They love that!

Simply Irresistible

Grandma Judy came for a visit so she could snuggle her grandkids.  These cuties are so irresistible!

 

 

Cam loves getting attention.  He has such an easy-going personality.

 Kennedy is a bit more high strung, but still as sweet as can be.

 Kennedy and Journee will be BFFs. Tucker, Miles, Charley, Cameron and Braden won't stand a chance against these two!

What is a Yeti?

Matt took on the challenge of coaching spring soccer.  We started off with five players, but two dropped out before our first game.  Quinn's 3 year old brother, Bennett, filled in for the missing two.

Our last game of the season was against Steve Claton and Steve Jones' team....This was a rivalry all season that we looked forward to putting to rest.

 A little smack talk before the game?

 All smiles from the coaches before the big game began.

Even Kennedy was excited for the game.  Steve, Kelley and Becka enjoyed cheering on our team.

 Smart guy....Cameron snuggled up with Dianna, our friend from the other team. Lily and Jake offered some attention to Cam too.

Braden adores his cousin, and from the looks of this photo, the feelings are mutual.

Tummy Time

These two no longer sit around like blobs.  It is time to spend time on bellies so they can get strong enough to roll over, then sit up, then crawl, then....It is all moving too fast!
