November News

These kids are getting way too big lately. I keep begging them to stay little forever! But they disobey and keep growing up!

There isn't a lot of relaxing that goes on around here, but Braden found a cozy spot on the couch to chill.
 Just make yourself comfortable, Bentley!
This baby is turning into such a delightful little girl.
Kelsey treated the babies to some California Pizza Kitchen!
Looks like they loved eating outside and enjoyed the sunshine! The couple behind Kennedy came up to Kelsey afterward to compliment her on the well-behaved babies!
A lot of wrestling and a little snuggling! They look like Siamese twins!
Turns out that our calm Cameron is quite the rebel. I love his tatted sleeves.
Can't get enough of his big eyes and long lashes.
No shortage of smiles from this girl!
Fortunately, Bentley puts up with all of her shenanigans.
Poor Cameroni has been dealing with ear problems that we are trying to figure out how to handle. Looks pretty happy at the doctor's office!
This cute cowboy was all decked out for western day at school.
Kennedy discovered a snack under the jumper.  She eats everything...
Literally, everything!

Feasting with Family

The entire Johnson crew visited to celebrate Thanksgiving.  With two more little ones, it feels like a whole lotta Johnsons!

Kennedy is always ready for visitors, especially those who want to give her lots of attention.
I don't typically tolerate laziness, but this is just a great use of Uncle CJ's shoulder!
Bentley could have really used a holiday grooming obviously, but Lyla doesn't mind at all that she's a bit frumpy.
Uncle CJ is turning out to be the perfect guy for Cam to hang with. Cameron found the perfect spot to avoid all the chaos. Uncle CJ doesn't really seem to mind either!
Uncle CJ sealed the deal on being really cool once he started this little game. Cam was having fun, despite his usual photo expression on his face.
We almost nailed it!
This double trouble is usually happy to be goofy for a photo.
 Such a beautiful family!
The kids were more interested in going swimming than posing for a group shot, but we managed to get smiles from most of them!
Cameron was like, "Haven't we taken enough pictures?! I thought it was Thanksgiving!"
Gramma and Sydney got the cooking started!
Like father, like son....
A nice picture of the brothers is all I was hoping for. Maybe next time.
Finally! Two who were willing to actually look happy...unfortunately, it looks like Papa has part of the flower arrangement in his mouth.
Bet she figured if she looked cute enough, someone would surely let her eat one.
She not only has her daddy, but now her uncle, wrapped around her finger!
Really Kennedy?! Aunt Sandy's smirk doesn't hide the fork she's shoving in Kennedy's mouth with more dessert on it!

There's Just Something About a Truck

A field, an old truck, and a beautiful fall day...great combination for some family pictures. Nicole just captured way too many amazing shots.

No one looks tortured yet. Good sign.
This kid makes strolling down a dirt road look so adorable.
The kids like when Nicole provides fun props!
No shortage of smiles from this one.
Getting a little arm workout in...
Thought for a long time that it would be Matt and me with Braden in the middle. But we sure wouldn't want our shoulders freed up. These babies are such a great addition!
Photo-bombing, courtesy of big brother in the front seat.
Lots of jumping and squealing going on here.
Coca Cola is a nostalgic, American tradition, so I figured it was ok for her to indulge a little.
I couldn't help but fast-forward in my mind to Braden driving to pick up a girl for a date...by fast-forward, I mean in like 20 years.
For a good photo, I'm willing to bribe the kids with soda...especially when it comes in cool, old-fashioned bottles.
Cameron was like, "Hey guys, keep in mind that I hate pictures, so all these irresistible smiles may be exchanged for a big pout soon."
Just reading an old, classic book while feasting on a picnic, out in the middle of a field...
The babies were wondering how many more combinations we could come up with. Braden was still along for the ride though.
What is it about an old, beat-up truck?
Still smitten after all these years...
Kennedy lights up when she sees her daddy. The just adore each other.
How did I become the mom who can't resist fairy wings and a wand for my girl?!
Secretly, I hope they are mama's boys...just a little at least.
Kelsey joined us for the photo shoot, so of course we needed a picture with her in it. It was as if she was tickling the kids in the bed of the truck. They were just so happy!
This is our happily ever after...
