Braden was a member of the Coyote Cubs Swim Team this summer. Entering the season, he wasn't much of a swimmer, but he was determined to be part of the team. Practice 4 days a week kicked him into high gear and earned him a love of the pool!
Hanging with Daddy at his first swim meet.
Posing with his buddies before jumping in the lanes to compete against each other.
Carter and Braden stayed out of trouble in between their heats.
Apparently the pros write their event and heat numbers on their arms with Sharpie marker.
Former soccer teammates, Zach and Braden got to catch up at the meet.
Jack and Braden happily hung out until they swam against each other in their final race.
These crazy goggles are a must for Braden to swim at his best.
It's a prerequisite to be very handsome to be an awesome swimmer.
Time to get serious before his breaststroke event.
Braden also swam the backstroke.
How did he do?? First place isn't too shabby!
In the freestyle event, Jack took first, while Braden came in a close second.
These cloth ribbons are like medals to Braden.
The team's staff was awesome. Braden loved Coach Shannon.
A familiar face is always nice. Our neighbor, Spencer, helped with the team.
Coach Susanna and Coach Devonie added so much fun and energy to the season.
