Farm Life

Uncle Billy, Aunt Maria and Journee met us at Tanaka Farms in Irvine to celebrate fall.  Well, it didn't exactly feel like fall with the 83 degree temps, but we pretended.

Kennedy explained to Uncle Billy that it is just a hair bow.  No big deal.
One girls isn't enough of a handful, so Aunt Maria scooped Kennedy up too.

These cousins love each other!

Braden was a great older cousin even before he became an awesome big brother.  Headed off into the corn maze...
Donning a skull and crossbones sweatshirt and tutu, Kennedy was ready for the corn maze.  Ok, maybe the bow was a bit overboard?

This kid is sprouting like a weed, or ahem, a corn stalk.
So glad Kennedy gets Journee's hand-me-downs.  I mean, those boots are just too much!!
She sure looks like she's had lots of practice posing for pictures.  Adorable in every photo!
Sitting on a hay stack with old tractors was fun, but Braden was eager to get to the petting zoo.  Aunt Maria cringed at the thought of all the dirt, poop and germs.
Only $7.75 for this pumpkin? Seems like quite a bargain.  Surely we'd stumble upon one three times the price to take home.
Braden loves animals.  He would've spent hours in the petting zoo.
Meanwhile, Cam did what he does best....looked adorable.
Sometimes great ideas don't seem so great once a photo is viewed after the fact.  The hair bow was the great idea.
Turns out pickings are a bit slim at a pumpkin farm on October 27.  Braden still managed to stake his claim on a good one though.
The pumpkin was so big, it made a good seat for both of these cuties.
Kennedy will be tearing it up at the farm next year with Journee.
There's just something about Uncle Billy that cracks the Johnson kids up!
Of course Aunt Maria wanted a picture with this beautiful pumpkin.
What does a beaut like that cost?  $23...
