Elf on the Shelf seems to be an American tradition nowadays, but we've never partaken in this activity. That is, until Gramma and Papa just mailed Braden an elf. Ironic timing since Braden doesn't believe in Santa, but he wanted the elf to pull daily shenanigans nonetheless. Sounded fun to me...and it was for the first 3 weeks. And then I started running out of ideas, so I had to cheat and look up a few online. Turns out there are countless, ridiculously creative things for the elf to do. Some people have way to much time on their hands. Pictured are a few of Braden's favorites.
I think Braden added a bit of dramatic effects for this photo since Cornell was visiting.
Why wouldn't the elf want to indulge in the cookies Braden made the night before with Kelsey, Lindsey and Mitch. No shortage of frosting and decorations on those!
Braden named the elf Mistletoe, which seems a little soft for a photo like this one.
Braden has been begging to move to Michigan or somewhere there is snow. Powdered sugar is warmer and more delicious than any snow!
