Guess you never quite understand what it's like to love grandchildren until you actually have some of your own. For this reason, it's hard to imagine why Gramma Suzie and Papa Gary would agree to taking three of their grandkids for several days. Ranging in age from 2 to 6, saying that this threesome is full of energy is an understatement. Nevertheless, the grandparents display their immense love for the children by taking them on hikes, creating projects, and playing with them...nonstop! Maybe all the activities are keeping them young! They managed to find time to snap a few pictures of the wild duo. Kendall and Braden are like little partners in crime. Unfortunately, Sydney got sick and didn't get captured on film.
Kendall and Braden had a dance party on the deck. I think Gramma and Papa encouraged this so that they would tire out! Braden said he was only dancing because he thought it was funny to scare the blue jays and squirrels.
Hiking seemed like another clever way to burn a bit of energy....doubt this ploy worked either! Braden said they searched for bears, pumas, and coyotes, but reported that all the scary animals were hiding in the bushes.
Climbing trees in Idyllwild will surely make for a memorable pastime for Braden. He doesn't seem to pass up on any opportunity to be a total ham!
