Braden seems to be able to spot a park from a mile away. Sometimes we will be driving and out of nowhere, he will shout "play, play!" Sure enough, moments later, we will drive past a park. So, since this park was just steps from where we were camping, Braden insisted on visiting it quite a bit. It is quite humorous to watch him interact with other children. All of the children we saw there were older than Braden, but that didn't stop him from "chatting" with them. He would just speak his own language with words here and there that were understandable. Strangely enough, the other kids didn't seem to think anything of it and played right along with Braden.
Braden kindly paused for a moment for a quick picture before motoring through the tunnel.
He climbed up the ladder so quickly that it was hard to even capture it!
Braden was steering the ship and apparently spotted some potential storm clouds?? Or maybe just an airplane, his new obsession that just may overtake his love of cars.
Every captain must have a girl to help navigate. Braden had a few to choose from, but this 3-year-old was quite assertive and took on the role.
Braden proudly pointed out the body parts of the whale. He actually climbed up on it even though some older children insisted he was too little. It was like he understood them and that gave him ammunition to prove them wrong. I couldn't take a picture since the whole responsible, maternal instincts kicked in and I realized I needed to pay close attention to Braden as he walked all over a huge whale that was really wet and slippery. Needless to say, the 8-year-old boys were impressed with Braden's skills!
