Why does it seem Braden and Pepper have 10 times the amount of energy I could even imagine mustering up after a long day at work?! I just wish I could borrow some of that energy from them! Sometimes I take them in the yard to run around and exhaust them a bit.
Braden was running laps, when all of a sudden he came to a screeching halt.....
He wondered who was following him. Then he discovered he could make funny movements with his hands and his new "friend" copied his every move! Braden's fascination with his shadow was so entertaining. He was talking to it like it was his friend. He became very concerned when he saw a spider walking on his "buddy."
Like most activities, the shadow infatuation was short-lived and Braden was off to burn off that PB & J he had for lunch.
Ok, so maybe Braden does need a sibling....or at least a friend. He pesters Pepper like she is his little sister. 
He practically begged her to take the toy and then yanked it away.
Why do we bother purchasing toys?! Braden was thrilled to be playing with the filthy, old pipes he found in the yard.
Pepper was exhausted from Braden's taunting and teasing, but Braden tried one more time to entice Pepper.
Pepper should know better by now though....she was getting yelled at by Braden for taking his toy and he bonked her on the head with a plastic pipe. And, of course Braden then ran to me to express how upset he was! This just must be preparation for potentially having another child one day.....
